TXT2Remind practice-patient messaging system allows GPs and other health providers to deliver appointment, screening and immunisation reminders as well as key health messages direct to the patient via text message and interactive mobile content delivery.
Practices can pre-order TXT2Remind 4.0 now for installation from 17 September 2015. Over 80 practices have already pre-ordered with continued demand for the new release.

The five key new features include a Campaign Manager, new Patient Initiated Text features, updated Appointments Confirmation, PMS Auto Update, and Improved Recalls.
The new Campaign Manager automates the health target process, such as up-dating your smoking status and read-code classifications.
A new Patient Initiated Text feature enables patients to text-in requests for repeat scripts and appointments, which traditionally account for 80% of all incoming calls into the practice.
The updated Appointments Confirmation feature will also enable patients to confirm or decline their appointment via text, and this will automatically be updated and colour coded in the practice appointment book.
The PMS Auto Update feature will automatically file messages against the patient Outbox or Inbox to allow practices to keep record of all sent and received communications against the patient notes.
The Improved Recalls feature now supports bulk recalls for all screenings and vaccination groups in your practice. Patients can now be recalled seamlessly with one click of a button, to reduce nurse time, and the cost of follow up letters and phone calls.
Jubbawey says, “We’re encouraging customers to pre-order as installation is on a first-in basis. We’re already seeing high demand for installation and we’re fully booked for our release week starting 10 September. We’re encouraging PHOs and practices to pre-commit as soon as possible to get to the front of the queue for the next installation window starting 17 September.”

Jubbawey says Vensa Health is continuing to invest heavily in the development of new mHealth innovation and the company is set for major announcements next year.
Last month Vensa announced it had received an R&D investment boost with the award of a government research and development (R&D) Growth Grant from Callaghan Innovation that would meet 20% of the company’s R&D programme over the next three years.
